Cleaning up the environment has never been so fun!

Vocal Trash, the musical band dedicated to teaching kids about the environment and about the responsibility of recycling, showed up at Barnes and Noble Tuesday to give a preview of their Levitt Pavilion appearance.

As a way of teaching kids about living green and how to use things that could end up in our oceans or landfills, group members helped kids create musical instruments out of old water bottles and encouraged to do the same at home with their parents.

Harnessing the power of music through their own recycled instruments, they showed kids the possibilities that trash holds!

After creating musical shakers from the plastic water bottles and filling them with beads, the kids got to the chance to perform a few songs with Vocal Trash.

The group also performed two live concerts Wednesday at Levitt Pavilion, where they displayed a diverse musical selection.
