Students from James Martin High School in Arlington are living the dream on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in Germany to two sister cities.
Under the direction of Juliann Warner, retired social studies teacher from Martin High School and member of the Arlington Sister Cities group, students are visiting Bad Konigshofen and Rothenburg.
The Mayor of Rothenburg, Walter Hartl, recently hosted a reception for the young delegates when they arrived in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Afterwards, the students went on a special tour at the Medieval Crime and Justice Museum led by director Dr. Dr. Markus Hirte.
Each year, Rothenburg's presence can be felt at the Texas Christkindl Market held near Globe Life Park. This year's market is scheduled to be held Nov. 27 - Dec. 23.
