The Academy of Country Music Awards and Party for a Cause have finally arrived in The American Dream City!Party for a Cause is Friday and Saturday, April 17-18, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The festival gates open at noon and the event features live performances throughout the day until around 7 p.m. Then on the main stage at 7:30, some of your favorite country music superstars will perform. The lineup includes Brooks and Dunn, Reba, Darius Rucker, Eli Young Band, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert and so many more! Then on Sunday, April 19, the 50th ACM Awards kick off at AT&T Stadium at 7 p.m. CT. If you can’t make it to the show, you can watch the ACM Awards live on CBS. The Arlington ISD Education Foundation is teaming up with Six Flags Over Texas to host AISD Education Celebration! on Friday, April 17 from 6 to 11 p.m. The proceeds benefit both AISD schools and the Foundation. This is a private event for Arlington ISD students and parents, community advocates, educators, and corporate sponsors. For each online $20 ticket purchased, $5 of the admission fee benefits the designated AISD school. The Celebration will also showcase academic achievements, fine arts performances, and athletic accomplishments by the students.
