Arlington Animal Services has named Bev Carpenter as the City's Volunteer of the Month.
Carpenter became a volunteer this past July and since that time she has already logged more than 182 hours at the Arlington Animal Services Center.
As an active member of senior ladies group, The Golden Paws, Carpenter made more than 30 blankets for the Martin High School Craft Show. The Golden Paws girls, who make dog beds, blankets and toys, human-sized blankets and wood crafts, collect donations to benefit animals at the shelter.
Carpenter jumped right into training to become a volunteer dog socializer. She does a fantastic job handling dogs and assisting in enriching their lives while they are here at the shelter. Arlington Animal Services considers Carpenter a superstar volunteer and appreciates all she does for animals in The American Dream City.
Congrats!
