More than 850 people gathered at the Levitt Pavilion in Downtown for the Arlington Public Library's 14th annual Medieval Arts Festival on Saturday, October 22, 2016.
Attendees browsed representative displays of textiles, needlework, jewelry, calligraphy, handmade soap, and armor and weaponry.
More than 40 members of the Society for Creative Anachronism attended wearing period costumes, sharing their knowledge about life in the Middle Ages.
Children were treated to a storytime by Katy Beebe, an assistant professor of medieval history at UT Arlington, who shared her book Brother Hugo and the Bear.
