The Cotton Bowl Classic, which is played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington each January, has a new title sponsor.
Earlier today, the Cotton Bowl and the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company announced a new title sponsorship deal for the iconic game.
The Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic will be played Jan. 1 at AT&T Stadium. Expect the Goodyear blimp to make an appearance in Arlington for the big game.
The game will be one of the six top bowl games included in the College Football Playoff Semifinals rotation. In fact, Next year's Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic will host a semifinal game on Dec. 31, 2015.
Details regarding the length of the new sponsorship deal and the price Goodyear paid for the naming rights to the game have not been confirmed.
Dallas-based AT&T previously sponsored the Cotton Bowl.
Just eleven days after the Cotton Bowl is played, AT&T Stadium will host the first ever College Football Playoff National Championship. Tickets are still available for the game.
