Dress your pooch as a pumpkin or pirate and come out for some family fun this weekend! Sponsor Adoptions, an Arlington-based active animal welfare agency, and Arlington Animal Services are hosting the fifth annual Howl-o-ween Spooktactular.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 15 at River Legacy Park's Elm Grove picnic area, 701 NW Green Oaks Boulevard.
Activities at Howl-o-ween Spooktacular include pictures in a pumpkin patch, pet costume parade, Spay Neuter Network's affordable vaccination clinic, prize wheel, on-site pet groomer, games, bounce houses, face painters, vendors, food trucks and more!
In addition, Arlington Animal Services mobile adoption team will have on site pet adoptions.
The cost to participate in activities is a $5 donation per person. Leashed pets are welcome.
All proceeds will go to assist animal shelters with the resources to increase their live release rate of healthy, adoptable animals and provide support to pet owners in the community.
