After Dark in the Park Family Fun Fall Festival
Taking place Friday, Saturday and Sunday night this weekend from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at River Legacy Park, enjoy fall activities like the pumpkin patch, storytelling under the stars, face painting, a maze and more.

Sam Houston High School Alumni Association Fall Fling
To celebrate 50 years of Sam Houston High School's existence, the Alumni Association is throwing a fall fling fundraising event at South Street Patio (400 E. South Street) on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. The event, which will have live music, a photo booth and live auction, is open to the public. All proceeds benefit the students, faculty and the school.
Tickets start at $15 for non-members and can be purchase in advance online at shhstexans.org.
UTA Volleyball vs. Appalachian State
Arlington's Mavericks are taking on Appalachian State on Sunday, Oct. 12. The team boasts an impressive 9-2 home record and is 14-5 overall.

57 Sauce Performing at Grease Monkey
Saturday night hometown band 57 Sauce will play live at downtown Arlington's Grease Monkey Burger Shop and Social Club (200 N Mesquite St.). The band performs a variety of things music from funk to rock and reggae.
