When fast answers matter, your local library is finding new ways to bring you MORe: more results, more answers, more articles, more eBooks.

Four local libraries have come together to implement MORe: Metroplex Online Resources. MORe is an online portal showcasing the electronic resources and databases offered by the library systems of Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, and Kennedale. Access MORe at morelibrary.org.

Online resources include databases, reference materials, learning tools, eBooks and more. Each library offers a different set of resources. If a resource is not available through your home library, you may be able to get a library card at your neighboring library or request that your library add the resource.

So what can you do with MORe? Here are just a few things you can do and explore with our resources:

• Download and read an eBook or eMagazine.
• View an auto repair manual that might otherwise be hard to find.
• Learn a new foreign language.
• Get help with school tutoring.
• Read an online encyclopedia.
• Explore thousands of healthy recipes.

These online resources have been divided into topical "collections" to make information easier to find, and promote tools of which library patrons might be unaware. "Genealogy," "Health," "Homeschooling" and "Texas" are just some of the easy-to-browse collections. MORe online resources are free and available 24/7. To use a resource, select your library and enter your library card number and PIN. You will be informed if your local library currently subscribes to that resource. If you have library cards with more than one library system, you may log out and back in with a different card, to see what resources are supported.
