City of Arlington personnel are working around the clock to ensure the city recovers from Thursday's storm that swept through the area. Here's a look at the City of Arlington's emergency response efforts:
- 2,350 Arlington residents are without power (as of 3:30 p.m.), which is down from 36,650 on Thursday night.
- Public Works has cleared all debris from roadways and is continuing removal operations.
- The City has three rovers covering the city for severe weather needs.
- Police officers continue to provide traffic management support at 814 Hillcrest due to low hanging wires. The intersection at Davis and Green Oaks has 4 way stop signs.
- The River Legacy Park is open at Green Oaks and the park entrance remains closed at Collins Street.
- All Arlington ISD campuses have power.
The City of Arlington would like to thank residents and business owners for being patient during the cleanup process. Though it will take some time clear all of the storm-related debris, City crews and contractors are working together to ensure areas are back to normal.
