The Arlington ISD will host Parent University to help parents and guardians of AISD students develop skills to support their children on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Parent University, which will have more than 15 class topics, is from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Bowie High School, 2101 Highbank Drive, Arlington, Texas, 76018. The event will also feature a resource fair with representatives from more than 70 organizations.
Participants will acquire knowledge to enhance their role as a student advocate. A series of workshops and guest presentations are planned, and there will be sessions given in both English and Spanish and targeting all ages.

- Exploring Career Choices in the AISD
- How to Speak Math at Home
- The Dad Cave
- Communicating with your Teen
