Youth Volleyball Leagues Forming in Arlington

The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department's Youth Volleyball League is designed to teach players the fundamentals of the game in a fun, non-competitive environment. Sportsmanship, skill progression and teamwork are emphasized.

Note: League Registration Ends September 30.

ABOUT OUR YOUTH VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM

Forming Your Team:
All players are registered individually for the league. Coaches can form their own teams (minimum of nine players is required for a full team). Additional players will be added to rosters with less than nine players. Individuals who register without a coach will be placed on teams. Each team will play 8 matches during the season consisting of 3 games to rally score of 21.

Practice Schedule:
Each team will be scheduled one practice a week on a week night (Mon-Fri). Practices will be held at the Elzie Odom Athletic Center or other locations that are available.

What We Provide:
Game and practice balls will be provided by the league. A jersey will be provided for all players; however, teams will provide their own shorts and shoes.

The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department is excited for another great season of youth volleyball. Remember: when deciding where your children are going to play this season, don't just pay to play, play in Arlington; where winners play and players win!
