Prepare yourself once again for the finest food trucks Arlington has to offer during the second Texas Food Truckin' Festival at the Rangers Ballpark October 25-26. About 40 trucks, including Doughboys Pizza Truck, My Cupcake Garden and Oink N' Moo, will offer delectable cuisine during this two-day event.
Due to the first festival's popularity, organizers are expecting another hit. In April, thousands of people enjoyed great food and live entertainment during the first festival held in April. Colorful food trucks will line both sides of Nolan Ryan Expressway, which will be closed to traffic to accommodate guests.
"The demand for a second Texas Food Truckin' Festival was great after the first one was such a huge success," said Decima Cooper, Director of Public Relations for Experience Arlington. "We're very excited for the fall event and it's going to go for a great cause."
A portion of the proceeds will benefit SafeHaven of Tarrant County, a local charity that works towards changing the lives of women affected by domestic violence. The festival begins Friday, October 25 at 4:00 p.m. Parking will be available in Lots B&J.
Tickets for adults are $10 for Friday, $12 for Saturday and $15 for a weekend pass and $6 for children. The adult fare covers parking and entrance to the festival. For more information on the event, please visit www.TexasFoodTruckinFest.com.
