UConn Wins First Final Four Game in Arlington

The first Final Four game ever played in Arlington was a slugfest.

After falling behind 16-4 in the first half, the UConn Huskies stormed back to beat the top-seeded Florida Gators 63-53 Saturday night. The Huskies are headed to the national championship game, the fourth appearance in the program's history. The Huskies have won all three times it has advanced to the championship game.

DeAndre Daniels led the way with a game-high 20 points and 10 rebounds. UConn is now 8-0 this eason when DeAndre Daniels has scored 10 points or more. "DeAndre was huge for us," said head coach Kevin Ollie. "He stepped up and really rebounded and was pretty much unstoppable."

Monday night's game will be against the winner of the Wisconsin/Kentucky matchup in the second national semifinal.
