Watching basketball fans pour into AT&T Stadium in Arlington Friday afternoon to watch UConn, Kentucky, Florida and Wisconsin practice on the hardwood was a sight to behold. There were fans of all ages, dressed in school colors, cheering for their favorite players.
Thousands of fans traveled - far and near - to watch this year's Final Four teams work on dribbling, defensive techniques and offensive sets.
The first team to take the floor was UConn. Fans could watch the UConn players gaze at the giant HD scoreboard at the top of AT&T Stadium as they waited just outside the tunnel to begin practice.
Florida head coach Billy Donovan says he's enjoying the Texas theme of the Final Four.
"I love it. I have never been to AT&T Stadium before. As soon as I walked out on the court for practice, I was blown away."
While the teams practiced, outside AT&T Stadium near Lot 5, fans enjoyed the Tip-Off Tailgate, a crowd-pumping event featuring music, basketball interactive activities, great food, and much more. It's the first stop on the fans' way to cheer on their favorite teams during Final Four Weekend.
