Meet Samantha, the Arlington Animal Services' Center's Cat of the Week! Samantha and her brother were owner surrendered on September 21, for no fault of their own. Samantha's brother was saved already by a wonderful rescue group, so now its Samantha's turn. She has been searching for her new fur-ever home! When Samantha first arrived at the shelter, she was very shy. Volunteers worked with her, and loved on her and showed her that people cared for her and that it was going to be alright. Since then, Samantha has blossomed. Turns out, she is very talkative and outgoing once you get her out of her cage and start loving on her! Samantha loves to be held and petted. And..... Samantha will also make you "biscuits" too! Samantha is already spayed, so when you adopt her, she is ready to go home with you that day. Her coloring is gorgeous, she has white, brown and black markings on her soft fur. Samantha is approximately one year old and she weighs a healthy 13 pounds!
