Dana Weddle was settled into her new home in central Arlington when she made a decision to finally get the pet that she always wanted.
After talking it over with her boyfriend, they visited the Arlington Animal Services Center in March 2010 and found Roman. They decided, "there's no way we're leaving without him."
The lab mix was only eight months old. Today, he is a part of the family with his playful attitude. Dana said he's smart, energetic and protective.
The Animal Services adoption program is open to anyone who desires to provide a safe, loving and permanent home for a pet. The process is simple with only a few requirements. The adoptable dog or cat must be spayed or neutered and vaccinated for rabies, and a city license is required if you are an Arlington resident.
