More than 33,300 students call The University of Texas at Arlington their academic home this fall, enrollment that demonstrates a period of sustained growth for the University, preliminary census figures show.
Enrollment was up slightly from fall 2012 but consistent with dramatic gains in enrollment this decade. Overall, UT Arlington has grown more than 57 percent from 2001, when enrollment stood at 21,180.
The Chronicle of Higher Education recently ranked UT Arlington as No. 7 on the news organization's list of the nation's fastest-growing public research institutions.
