The City of Arlington has adoptable canines and felines to match the needs of each family. They are available in all sizes and colors, short hair and long, said Code Compliance Services Assistant Director Mike Bass. Approximately 3.7 million animals are put to sleep in shelters every year because of pet overpopulation. Arlington Animal Services is encouraging individuals to adopt a shelter dog or cat and experience the joy of a companion animal.
