On Thursday, December 22, the Arlington Fire Department presented Life Saving Awards to the family members and fire crew members who administered CPR to a cardiac arrest victim.
Cliff Pace was on the roof of his house hanging Christmas lights on November 28 when he suffered a cardiac arrest. His wife and brother performed CPR on the roof until fire personnel arrived on the scene. Fire crews then began the process of removing Pace from the roof while continuing to administer CPR.
Pace survived and was present on Thursday at Fire Station 7 as his wife Kimberly, daughter Bayleigh, and brother Michael were presented Life Saving Awards.
