The City of Arlington was honored to receive 13 awards from the national organization, City-County Communications: Marketing Association, or 3CMA, for its video programming, marketing, photography and other community outreach efforts.
"We're fortunate to have such a diverse community that gives us so many remarkable stories to tell," said Jay Warren, Director of Communication and Legislative Affairs. "We're grateful for the outstanding engagement we receive from our residents on social media, through our video content and our website articles. It's definitely an honor to be recognized nationally for our creativity and our efforts to be transparent and informative."
The Savvy Awards, held in conjunction with 3CMA's Annual Conference, recognize outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing and citizen-government relationships. The Savvies salute skilled and effective city, county, agency or district professionals who have creatively planned and carried out successful innovations in communications and marketing. 3CMA accommodates local government organizations of all sizes and budget classes by judging entries in several different population groups.
