Award-winning Musical Hits UTA Stage

The award-winning Broadway musical, Fiddler on the Roof, hits the stage this weekend as members of the UTA Maverick Theatre Company and UTA Department of Music collaborate to bring this masterpiece to life- right here in Arlington. Fiddler on the Roof is a timeless, classic that offers a powerful statement about the evils of oppression and the importance of family. Shows are 8:00pm on Friday and Saturday; 2:30pm on Sunday. $9-12 for tickets.

AISD Youth Art at the AMA

Looking for amazing art created by local talent? Head over to the Arlington Museum of Art to enjoy an exhibit featuring works created by Arlington ISD students."AISD Youth Art,' a collaboration between AISD and the AMA, gives students from Martin High School and Lamar High School an opportunity to display their artistic creations for the general public to view. 10am-5pm on Friday and Saturday; 1-5pm on Sunday. $8 for adults; $5 for seniors/students.

The Wizard Lands in Arlington

Dorothy's magical trip to Oz and her quest to find her way home with her friends - The Tin-Man, Cowardly Lion and the Scarecrow - is stopping at Theatre Arlington for the weekend. All of your favorite characters come to life during Dorothy's journey down the Yellow Brick Road. 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday; 2pm on Sunday. $10 for adults and children.

Growing a Green Thumb

Show off your green thumb or develop new skills during Saturday's Learn and Grow Fair at the Southwest Branch Library, 3311 S.W. Green Oaks Blvd. Try classes in landscape design, lawn management and vegetable gardening. There are several fun activities for the kids as well, making this a great morning event for the entire family. Presented by the City of Arlington Water Utilities Department and the Arlington Public Library. 9am - noon on Saturday. Space is limited. Free admission.

Professional Bull Riders Invade Cowboys Stadium

Combine the excitement of March Madness with one of the most famous venues in the world and you have theProfessional Bull Riders Iron Cowboy. Twenty-four of the world's best bull riders are placed into a bracket where they go head-to-head until only one rider remains. The winner earns $50,000 and the opportunity to earn a $100,000 bonus if they can reach eight seconds on one more bull. 7pm on Saturday. $35-150 for tickets.
