Members of the Arlington Thunder Youth Football Association, featuring kids between ages 5 and 12, showed off their tackling skills for NFL Media's cameras in town for the "Heads Up Football Across America" tour.
The team began incorporating Heads Up Football - USA Football's national initiative to make football better and safer - on for the first time this season.
NFL Media's Melissa Stark provided live reports on NFL Network's "Inside Training Cam," showing how players "rip" through a tackle with an upward motion rather than lead with their head.
The team signed up for the Heads Up Football program during the offseason despite making the national playoffs nine of the past 10 years.
