Meet Luna, Arlington Animal Services' Cat of the Week! Luna is a gorgeous female adult Russian Blue cat, and she is already spayed so you can take her home the same day you adopt her! Russian Blue cats are very intelligent and beautiful! Luna is seven years old. She has had a string of bad luck this year. Her previous owners brought her to the shelter back in February 2013 because they were moving. A nice couple adopted Luna and her sister together and has had both of them for many months. Well.... Luna was returned because she was scared living outside. The owner had Luna and her sister living outside at an apartment complex, and they had never lived outside before. Luna didn't adjust to the outside so the owner brought her back this month, but kept her sister. So Luna is once again at the shelter for no fault of her own and looking for that special someone to adopt her and keep her for fur-ever and ever! She is an inside-only kitty, she is very sweet and friendly, and can be very affectionate as well once she warms up to you. She is by far a Volunteer Favorite at the shelter because of her outstanding personality and her loving nature. She loves attention, and loves to be petted and scratched under her chin. We know she is even good with older kids as well. Please give Luna a chance -she has had some bad luck this year, and it's time for her back luck to turn around! Come meet your new best friend and fall in love! Luna's ID number is 19197849.
