We love the energy and playfulness of this pic of the week taken at the spray ground at California Lane Park. Fun in the sun continues at Arlington spray grounds daily from 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. through Labor Day weekend. After Labor Day weekend, the spray grounds will only be open on the weekends through the end of September.

Arlington has three spray grounds located at Don Misenhimer, California Lane and Brandtley Hinshaw parks.

Kids of all ages can also enjoy cooling off in the interactive fountain at Founders Plaza as the Levitt Pavilion's free fall concerts get underway with a crowd-pleasing line-up for Labor Day weekend! The Texas Power 2013 Fall Concert Series runs Aug. 30 through Sept. 29 with concerts at 8 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

If you've got a water-loving tadpole that isn't happy about the end of summer aquatics, now's the time to register them for Fall Swim Classes held at Hugh Smith Recreation Center indoor pool.
