Arlington residents and their dogs strolled along the paths of Six Flags, taking pictures with cartoon characters and receiving health and wellness tips at the Wags N’ Flags event Saturday morning .

At the start of the walk, residents donated food and money towards pet adoption, and special coupons were given to those that participated.

The event gave residents a chance to walk their four legged friends in a different environment, while giving back to the community by helping local animals gain a safe home environment through pet adoption.
