Tickets for Doobie Brothers Benefit Concert Now on Sale
The Doobie Brothers will be "Rockin' Down the Highway" and "Takin' It to the Streets" to rock Arlington October 4, and tickets are on sale now! Tickets to the concert at College Park Center at University of Texas Arlington range in price from $38 to $156. All seats are reserved and include a $3 service fee. The Doobie Brothers concert is the annual fundraiser for Levitt Pavilion Arlington, and all proceeds help pay for more than 50 free outdoor concerts in the summer and fall. During a concert season, the Levitt Pavilion attracts more than 100,000 visitors to Downtown Arlington. This benefit concert is the only Levitt concert that requires a ticket purchase.
As durable as American steel, northern California's four-time Grammy-winning Doobie Brothers sound has become part of America's musical firmament, sampled on dance records, reinterpreted on American Idol and a fixture on radio formats from top 40 to classic rock. They continue to write and record new material and tour the world, boasting one of the most loyal fan bases in music. The Doobies have a glittering track record that would be the envy of any band. Beginning with their multi-million-selling sophomore collection Toulouse Street in 1972, the Doobies have three multi-platinum, seven platinum and 14 Gold albums. The Doobie Brothers includes founding members Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons and veteran John McFee, have been with the Doobies for more than 30 years. Their list of number-one singles include Black Water, What a Fool Believes, Jesus is Just All Right, Rockin' Down the Highway, Long Train Runnin', China Grove, Take Me in Your Arms, Takin' It to the Streets and Minute by Minute.
The $156 VIP tickets include free parking at College Park Center, a VIP cocktail party with a silent and live auction before the concert, and reserved seats in the VIP section at the concert.
