Hello! I' m Chato, the Arlington Animal Services' Center' s Dog of the Week. I' m a handsome young fellow, two years old, and am considered a medium-size dog weighing approximately 43 pounds. Due to unfortunate family circumstances, my previous owners could no longer provide a home for me, so now I am here looking for a new family! If you are a family that enjoys walks, playing outside and spending time together, then we might be a perfect match! I am a friendly young guy with a happy-go-lucky personality who enjoys meeting new people and other dogs. I have been around some young "tween" volunteers and enjoyed playing fetch with them and got a few good belly rubs, too! I am told my breed is a Pit Bull mix, and being a medium-sized dog, a home with a good size yard to run and play in would be ideal for me. Oh, and can you keep a secret? I can even sit on command and I will sit nicely for treats. Volunteers tell me I' m a good boy and they like me because I' m "treat- motivated". I don' t know much about what that means other than I do know that the more I listen, the more yummy goodies I get to eat! If you are looking for a new family member, or know someone who might be a good fit for me, please come visit me in kennel DA2. My ID number is A20643520. Adoption fees at Arlington Animal Services include all core vaccinations, a city license, micro-chipping as well as 30 days free pet insurance. The best news is that I am available for immediate adoption and since I am already neutered I can go home with you today!
