Ride the MAX

The City of Arlington is excited to announce the official launch of the Metro ArlingtonXpress, or MAX! We invite members of the media to join us for the big roll out. Mayor Robert Cluck, members of Arlington City Council, City Manager Trey Yelverton and the University of Texas at Arlington's new president, Dr. Vistasp Karbhari, will join students, community members and business owners for the launch of the service and ribbon-cutting ceremony. We will also be joined by our partners who made MAX possible. Attendees will then have the opportunity to ride the MAX to CentrePort/DFW Airport Station and back to College Park following the ceremony.

For media interested in covering the launch for morning shows, we will have a MAX bus and interviews available beginning at 5:30 a.m. If you plan to do morning show live shots, please contact the City of Arlington by Friday, August 16.
