A Night at the Apollo

The Arlington Museum of Art continues its celebration of the Harlem Renaissance with a tribute to The Apollo Theater, Harlem's historic venue. In line with the actual Apollo Theater, the museum will host its very own Amateur Night on Saturday night, featuring amateur acts from North Texas. Cash prizes are being awarded to the top three winners. The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and include admission to the museum.

Saturday Story Time

Children of all ages are invited to listen to fun, seasonal stories presented by a librarian from the Arlington Public Libraries at River Legacy Living Science Center. Stay after for some fun activities. This free event is Saturday at 11 a.m. RSVP to 817-860-6752.

Keep Lake Arlington Clean

Join several city organizations and area teams as they participate in Saturday's "Love Where You Live" Lake Arlington cleanup event at Eugene McCray Park. Volunteers will be picking up litter and debris along the shores and islands of Lake Arlington. Cleanup event runs 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Theatre Arlington Presents "The Foreigner"

Don't miss "The Foreigner," a story about a shy boy named Charlie, who is overcome with fear at the thought of having a conversation with strangers. When a rumor starts that Charlie is from an exotic foreign country and speaks no English he overhears more than he should. The fact he understands every devious word fuels nonstop hilarity and sets up the wildly funny climax. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.; Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $5. Not suitable for children under 17.
