Many City of Arlington municipal offices will be closed for Independence Day on Friday, July 4.
In Arlington, there will be no garbage and recycling collection. Service will resume on next regular collection days.

- Arlington Tennis Center - Closes at 6 p.m.
- All municipal golf courses (Lake Arlington closes at 1 p.m.)
- Helen Wessler and Howard Moore pools are open 12-5pm
- Bad Koenigshofen Family Aquatics Center, Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center, Woodland West, Allen Bolden Pool are open 12-6pm
Note: on July 3, the Central Library will close at noon to accommodate the Light Up Arlington event (the Central Library parking lot is used for staging purposes.) All Library Branch locations will be open normal business hours on July 3.
