Discounted outdoor and indoor wedding packages for flagship locations around the city

Imagine the picture perfect wedding at sunset, with every detail planned to perfection - by someone else. Sound too good to be true? Not if you're planning a wedding at one of the many scenic parks or indoor venues included in the city's new 2013 wedding packages.

From Legacy Pavilion at River Legacy Park to the new west end terrace of the Bob Duncan Center overlooking Vandergriff Park or the Bad Konigshofen Pavilion at Stovall Park, these new packages are designed to help make planning and hosting a wedding as stress-free as possible. Packages include items such as permits for alcohol consumption, sound and tents, white tents with walls for changing rooms and catering services, tables, chairs and even a wedding arch, all at an affordable price.

"We came up with the packages to offer couples a one-stop resource when planning their wedding in the City of Arlington,' said Kristy Sheikh, rental and lake services coordinator. "The wedding party does not have to lift a finger for setup and can concentrate on spending this joyous time together.'

Current wedding packages include the Harmony Package (up to 50 people) Tranquility Package (51-100 people) Serenity Package (101-200 people) Serendipity Package (201-300 people). Arlington Rentals has partnered with Ventana Grille at the Tierra Verde Golf Club as its preferred catering vendor, offering guests a wide array of delectable food choices and customized menu options for any budget from executive chef Luigi Cinelli.

The Arlington Rentals brand was created as a collaboration of rental opportunities for residents in Arlington and the surrounding communities.

"The idea of Arlington Rental's packages is to help simplify the event planning process for local residents,' Rental and Lake Services Manager Michael Debrecht said. "The 2013 wedding packages are the first offering of this new process. Packaging deals from venues make planning birthday parties, weddings, family reunions, and other events as easy and affordable as possible.'
