If you're into reptiles, then Arlington is the place to be this weekend! Colorful lizards, hard-shell turtles and tortoises and a collection of scaly serpents are in the spotlight when the North American Reptile Breeders Conference (NARBC) opens this weekend at the Arlington Convention Center, 1200 Ballpark Way.

Open to the public, this high-quality, captive-bred-only reptile show brings together top dealers from across the country offering thousands of exotic and pet-friendly "herps." With prices ranging from $5 to $50,000, everything from the common gecko to extraordinarily rare breeds of snakes will be represented.

This show is a great opportunity for the entire family to spend the day getting up close and personal to some amazing and unique reptiles, lizards, snakes of all shapes and sizes, turtles, alligators, tortoises, frogs and much more.

Visitors will also have the chance to talk with some of the industry's most knowledgeable reptile enthusiasts from area zoos, universities, museums, nature centers, and private collections.

• Saturday, February 15 - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Sunday, February 16 - 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $15.00 for adults, $8 for children ages 5-12.
