Potager Café Celebrates 5-Year Anniversary
People come from far and near to enjoy the food at Potager Café, one of Arlington's treasures. To celebrate her success, owner Cynthia Chippindale is hosting party on Saturday, January 18 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. where she'll cook your favorite dishes and requests. Local farmers who raise and grow the food served at Potager will be on hand.
Saturday Story Time for the Kids
Children of all ages are invited to listen to fun, seasonal stories presented by a librarian from Arlington Public Libraries at River Legacy Living Science Center on Saturday, January 18 at 11 a.m. Stay after for related activity. Space is limited; please RSVP to 817-860-6752. Admission is free.
Theatre Arlington Presents: Enchanted April
Theatre Arlington continues its 41st anniversary season with the Tony award nominated play and John Gassner Award winner for Outstanding New American Play, "Enchanted April." The show opens Friday, January 17 at 8:00 p.m., followed immediately by a post-show reception with the cast and crew. Saturday's performance is at 8 p.m. and Sunday's show is at 2 p.m. Tickets are $22 for adults with discounts available for seniors, students and groups.
MLK Step Competition
Catch some of the best local step talent from Arlington elementary, junior high and high schools during this annual competition. This year's event is being held Saturday, January 18 at 11:30 a.m. at UT Arlington's Texas Hall, 701 Nedderman Drive.
