Many City of Arlington municipal offices will be closed for Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4. In Arlington, there will be no garbage and recycling pickups. Regular hours and schedules will resume Thursday, July 5.

What's Open Wednesday, July 4
- Arlington Tennis Center - Closes at 3 p.m.
- All municipal golf courses
- Helen Wessler, Howard Moore and Woodland pools are open 12-5pm
- Bad Koenigshofen Family Aquatics Center is open 12-6pm
Note: on July 3, the Central Library will close at 3:30 p.m. to accommodate the Light Up Arlington event (the Central Library parking lot is used for staging purposes.) All Library Branch locations will be open normal business hours on July 3.
