Alan Braxton, a senior on Arlington High School's track team, has been selected as the City of Arlington's Student-Athlete of the Month for March 2016.

Alan has exceeded expectations with outstanding performance both on the field and in the classroom.

Scott Peach, Arlington High School athletics coordinator, says Alan deserves the recognition for both the value he places on his education and for his leadership on the track and football teams.

Alan, among the top students in his class, said he plans to attend the University of Texas after graduation and pursue a degree in computer science for animation.
