The Dallas Cowboys return to action at AT&T Stadium in Arlington's world-class Entertainment District for the team's third NFL preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. Kickoff for the game is at 7 p.m. CT. on Sunday, August 26. If you can't make it to the game, it will be nationally televised on NBC. The team will return to Arlington for its first home game at AT&T Stadium against the New York Giants at 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, September 16. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com for all Cowboys home games.
Check out live music this weekend at Texas Live!, the new $250 million world-class dining, entertainment and hospitality district located near the Rangers' Globe Life Park and Cowboys' AT&T Stadium in The American Dream City. Arlington Backyard, a 5,000-capacity outdoor event pavilion, is expected to host more than 250 events annually. This week features The Inspiration Band at Texas Live! and Jerrod Niemann at the Arlington Backyard on Thursday, August 23. Both performances start at 8 p.m. At 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, Hazard County takes the stage at Texas Live!, while the 80's VS 90's hosted by Chris Kirkpatrick of N'Sync gets underway at 8 p.m. at the Arlington Backyard. 3. Mobile Pet Adoption Event at PetSmart in the Arlington Highlands
Join Arlington Animal Services for a tail-wagging, family-friendly, pet-saving community event this Saturday, August 25 at the PetSmart in the Arlington Highlands, 203 E. Interstate I-20, Suite 101, Arlington, TX 76018. Adorable, adoptable pets looking for new homes will be available at the mobile adoption unit from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for immediate adoption.
It's time to break out the swimwear, slather on the sunscreen, and dust off your sunglasses for a fun-filled season at Hurricane Harbor! This summer season is sure to rock with plenty of activities for the entire family. Cool off with the kiddos at Hook's Lagoon with four mini slides, water sprayers and shallow water to splash around in. For the thrills seekers in the family, hop onto Tornado and travel down the 132 foot slide in the mouth of a gigantic funnel. Hurricane Harbor will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Six Flags Over Texas, the Thrill Capital of Texas, continues its 57th season in The American Dream City. The park will open this weekend for guests to enjoy their favorite coasters and attractions, including the ultimate Super-Villain thrill ride—HARLEY QUINN Spinsanity. The park's operating hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. 6. Splash Into September at Hugh Smith Indoor Pool
As summer comes to an end, the pools will be closing for the season. However, if you purchased an outdoor season pass for City pools, then you can still use it through September at Hugh Smith Indoor Pool. Keep summer going after school starts with open swim hours every day of the week. Features include a perfect 86 degree water temperature year round, handicap access, and changing room and restroom facilities. Head over to Grease Monkey Burger Shop & Social Club in Downtown Arlington for two nights of live music this weekend. On Friday night, Acoustic Hash will take the stage at 9 p.m. featuring Brian Davis (Guitar/Vocals) and John Geyerman (Vocals/Guitar). On Saturday night, residents and visitors can check out Radio Love Bus, a group influenced by Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, The Eagles, Steve Miller Band, Damien Rice, The Beatles, Al Green, Alice in Chains, The Black Keys and Otis Redding. Check out live music from Ryan Vande Brake this Friday, August 24, 2018 at J.R. Bentley's in Downtown Arlington. The show starts at 8 p.m. Situated in a historic home, J.R. Theatre Arlington presents The Sweetest Swing in Baseball this weekend in Downtown, by Rebecca Gilman. The show runs through Sunday, August 26. The Sweetest Swing in Baseball is appropriate for audiences aged 16 and up and does feature adult language.

This includes Spacepark 360: Infinity, a planetarium show designed to recreate the experience of amusement park thrill rides, roller coasters, pendulums, inverters and more.
