This week, enjoy a day out in Arlington at the third annual Arlington Christkindl Market located at the corner of Ballpark Way and Road to Six Flags just outside Rangers Ballpark. With vendors showing off a variety of authentic German holiday products, food, music, live entertainment and family activities, you're sure to have some fun-and MAX can get you there!
Simply board MAX at College Park or CentrePort and ride to the new Collins Street stop in the Entertainment District, just south of Andrews. Rangers Ballpark and the Christkindl Market are just a few blocks away.
Arlington Christkindl was inspired by the Christkindlemarktin, a German tradition originating in Nuremburg, Germany in the 16th century. Arlington's inaugural Christkindl Market was brought to the city in 2011 in honor of the 60th anniversary of Arlington's sister city, Bad Konigshofen.
The Christkindl Market runs through Sunday, December 22.
