People from across the Metroplex enjoyed the Scottish Festival & Highland Games held May 3-5 at Maverick Stadium on the campus of UT-Arlington. The three-day festival is he largest cultural event of its kind in Texas and the Southwest. This year' s festival featured Scottish Highland Dancing, Bagpiping, Drumming, Scottish Folk Music, Scottish Athletic events, Scottish breed dog events, Scottish Fiddle & workshops, Celtic Harp demonstrations, and much more.
