Congratulations to Lindsey Hurr for being named the citywide October Volunteer of the Month. Lindsey is very dependable and passionate about the animals at Arlington Animal Services. She is a true animal advocate and will go over and beyond to try to get an animal adopted.
Lindsey spends time with potential adopters to help them make a conscious decision to adopt the right animal. She volunteers at the Animal Services Center whenever she can and also participates at shelter adoption events. Lindsey was very instrumental in the success of the National Pit Bull Awareness program held at Animal Services on October 25-26, 2013 by bringing positive media coverage to the shelter.
