Arlington Parks and Recreation has a number of holiday season events for families to check out in The American Dream City this December!
1. Olde Town Christmas Craft Fair
On Friday, December 4th from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center, Arlington Parks and Recreation hosts its annual Olde Town Christmas Craft Fair.
The smells of homemade goodies will fill the air, music of the season will surround you, and the newest ideas in holiday craft decor and gifts can be seen and purchased at this fun-filled family event.
Admission is free and concessions will be available all day. Interested in becoming a vendor for this event? Prices range from $45-$65. Vendors may reserve space by calling 817-277-5001.
If you ca't make it out Friday, there will be a second day of the Olde Town Christmas Fair on Saturday December 5th!
2. Breakfast with Santa
He's making a list, and checking it twice. He's going to find out who's naughty and nice. Santa Clause is coming to town!
And he's stopping by Cliff Nelson Recreation Center to enjoy breakfast and other holiday activities with guests on Saturday, December 12th from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Breakfast with Santa is a great holiday event for the whole family. Children will enjoy making holiday crafts and visiting with someone special, too. Space is limited, so mark your calendars today and make this a holiday tradition!
Admission is $10 per person, minimum of one adult required per registration. All ages welcome. Pre-registration for Breakfast with Santa is required. Please call 817-561-2819 for more information.
3. Swim with Surfi' Santa
Missing the beach this winter? Well the surf's still up this holiday season! Support the local Seguin Swim Team with their Swim with Surfi' Santa fundraiser. Join Arlington Parks and Recreation on Friday, December 18th from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Hugh Smith Indoor Pool (1815 New York Ave.). Wear your tropical clothes and enjoy summer this winter! Also make sure to bring your camera to get a picture with the big man himself, Santa Clause!

4. Gingerbread Workshop
Everyone is welcome to come make adorably edible Gingerbread Houses on December 19th at the Hugh Smith Recreation Center (2015 Craig Hanking Dr.)! Make sugary shingles, snow-frosted windows, add tons of icing and colorful candies to make your creation come to life!
Do't forget your camera for pictures with Santa! $20 for families of 5, each additional person is $5.
