Dream Builders is a show on MyArlingtonTV that highlights the ways our community is helping kids dream big, nurture their creativity, polish their skills and develop the tools they need to achieve their American Dream as young adults.

The latest Dream Builders episode features Mansfield Summit High School senior Shaykeim Powe, one of 11 deserving students around the country to receive a $100,000 Scholarship from music superstars Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

Powe was announced as the winner at the Beyoncé concert at Arlington's AT&T Stadium in September 2018. He was also one of 20 Boys and Girls Club of Arlington members to receive front row seats in the VIP area during the concert.

"The program at the Boys and Girls Club has made me become more of a leader instead of a follower," Powe said. "They're preparing me for college and letting me know what I need to do."
