
The City of Arlington’s Stormwater Management Division will be holding informational meetings regarding upcoming watershed studies for the Lynn Creek, Bowman Branch, Upper Village Creek, and Trinity Tributary Watersheds.
Watersheds are a vital part of our environment because the surface water and stormwater runoff within a given watershed drain into other bodies of water. The quality of this water is affected by alterations to the land through urban development and the activities of people within each watershed. The purpose of these studies is to identify flooding and erosion issues and to provide information to update the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s flood maps.
Residents living in the impacted areas, as shown on the location maps, are invited to attend come and go style meetings set for the following days:
