Naturally Fun Membership Scholarship

It’s a Scholarship Program for youth, teens, and adults to receive a one year Gold, Green, or Blue membership to an Arlington Recreation Center.

Our Membership Package include the following:

**Membership packages are selected by need and age due to requirement of certain activities**

  • Instructor-led Fitness Classes
  • Weight Room Access
  • Gymnasium Use (basketball, volleyball, pickleball courts)
  • Indoor Track (select facilities)
  • Open & Lap Swim (East Indoor Pool & AISD Natatorium)
  • Splash pad (Beacon Recreation Center)
  • Indoor Skating (Elzie Odom)

You may redeem your membership and participate at any of these local locations:

  • Beacon Recreation Center, SE Arlington
  • Cliff Nelson Recreation Center, SW Arlington
  • Dottie Lynn Recreation Center, Central/ West Arlington
  • East Library and Recreation Center, East Arlington
  • Elzie Odom Athletic Center, NE Arlington
  • Eunice Activity Center, Central Arlington (Currently closed)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Eligibility is based upon federal income guidelines and is available to Arlington residents only. Due to limited funding, scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. In addition, scholarships cannot be combined with any other discount offers.

HOW TO APPLY:

Click here to open and complete an application. If funding is available, staff will contact you to finalize the application, including a commitment fee for membership or special programming. Income verification is due at the time of application approval. To save time, upload your required documents with your online application!

ACCEPTED DOCUMENTATION TO VERIFY INCOME:

  • Current Federal Income Tax Return
  • Free or Reduced School lunch letter of approval
  • Current pay stubs (last four stubs)
  • Government assistance award letter: (current Medicaid Card, SNAP Award Letter within the last six months, SSI, CHIPS Insurance Card showing eligibility dates)
  • Proof of residency (utility bill or lease agreement)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Each recipient is responsible for a $20.00 payment towards the membership fee. Scholarship cannot be used for rentals, sports leagues, or, separate activities. Memberships are non-refundable.
