The Arlington MLK Four Day Celebration Committee announces the Spirit of Service Scholarship open to all students currently enrolled at UT Arlington and Tarrant County College-Southeast. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a TCC-SE student and one $1,000 scholarship award to a UT Arlington student.

Requirements include:
1. Currently enrolled student who has completed 24 hours or more
2. Minimum 3.0 GPA
3. Involved in community service
4. An essay using the theme: “Advancing the Dream: A Path Forward to Impact Change Across Generations” (Must not exceed 1,500 words.)
5. Two letters of recommendation from faculty, employers and/or community leaders.
