Pets of the Week

Dog of the Week - Meet Demi

This seven and one half months old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is black, white and tan in color and weighs 27 pounds. Dasher and Dancer, Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid, Donner and Blitzen... you know the song! But let us introduce you to the sweetest of them all—Demi!  She may not have a glowing red nose, but her warm heart shines just as bright. She has been waiting patiently in the shelter for nearly 25 days, and her Christmas wish is simple: a forever home to call her own. Timid at first, Demi is a gentle soul with a curious spirit. Once she trusts you, her loving nature shines through, and she’ll be your loyal companion for all life’s adventures. Whether it’s cuddling by the fire, exploring snowy trails (not likely in Texas), or just sharing quiet moments, this young pooch is ready to make your holidays—and every day after—unforgettable. Due to her length of time in the shelter, Demi is considered a VIP pet with a discounted adoption fee. Adopt Demi today and make her wish come true. Meet Demi at Dog Adoptions (DA) 9, her ID number is A57275733.

Second Dog of the Week - Meet Martha

This six months old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is fawn and white in color and weighs 23 pounds. Martha is a young, eager pup who’s ready to find her "furever" home!. She is a shining example of why shelter dogs make such amazing companions. Her friendly nature, and innate curiosity are examples of her full potential, just waiting for the right person to guide her. At her young age, Martha is still learning her manners and socialization skills, but that’s where you come in. She’s like a sponge, ready to soak up your guidance and love. Her enthusiasm for the world is infectious, and she’s already shown how well she does on a leash. Her love of treats is the key to unlocking her learning potential. She’ll happily "sit" for a snack (with a little patience), and this makes her a joy to train. With consistency and care, Martha is sure to blossom into a well-mannered, devoted companion. Martha is also a designated VIP pet due to her length of time in the shelter. Meet Martha in Dog Adoptions (DA) 2, her ID number is A57294161.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
