This sweet guy has been waiting at the shelter for over 92 days, and it’s time to change that! Life in a kennel isn’t what this ready-to-go companion deserves. This dog is eager to stretch his legs, explore the world, and, most importantly, find a family to call his own. He already knows how to sit and absolutely adores being outside. Dog of the Week - Meet Juniper

This six years, one month old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is brindle and white in color and weighs 37 pounds. Juniper has been waiting patiently at the shelter for over 58 days, but hasn’t had many visitors stop to meet her. We’re hoping to change that because she is truly special. With a curious nose and a love for sniffing out new adventures, this dog is always ready to explore. She’ll sit politely for treats and happily soak up all the pets you can give. She is a joy on a leash and absolutely adores spending time in our play yards, where she can relax and enjoy a change of scenery. This lovable girl just needs a family to see how wonderful she truly is. VIP status has been achieved and comes with a reduced adoption fee.
