Dog of the Week - Meet Quinn
This two years, one month old female Shepherd mix is black, tan and white in color and weighs 65 pounds. Quinn has been patiently waiting for a new "furrever" home since just after the new year began. After spending time in isolation due to a respiratory infecton, she’s more than ready to break free from the kennel life and see the world. And yes, she is over the respiratory infection! While she’s still fine-tuning her manners, she walks well on a leash and absolutely LOVES spending time with staff and volunteers. We’re working on moving her into a bigger space in the adoption mall, but what she really needs is a home of her own! If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who’s eager for adventure, Quinn could be the perfect match. VIP status achieved due to length of time in the shelter with a reduced adoption fee. Meet Quinn in Dog Holding (DH) 101, her ID number is A57551848.
Dog of the Week - Meet Moses
This four years, one month old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is brindle and white in color and weighs 72 pounds. This "big boy" has been a shelter resident for just over a month. While he might seem a little extra excited in his kennel, don’t let that fool you—he’s a smart, food-motivated boy who does great with treats and already knows “sit” (as you can see in his picture!). He absolutely loves squeaky toys and was so happy to have company in his kennel that he tried to keep the staff person there just for more treats. Having tested as heartworm positive, a new adopting family will need to follow up with heartworm treatment so he can live his best life. While he’ll need heartworm treatment, he’s worth every bit of care and love. Due to his VIP status, Moses has a reduced adoption fee. Meet Moses in Dog Holding (DH) 215, his ID number is A57566276.
Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
