Cat of the Week - Meet Hawk
This two years, one month old male Domestic Shorthair is a brown and black tabby. Hawk is a very special kitty that we are highlighting this week. He was brought into the shelter in early January with an injured back leg that necessitated amputation. During his recuperation he has been spending time in a foster home with a loving caretaker. Now that the healing process is complete, Hawk has been cleared for adoption. His caretaker has done nothing but rave about him and talk about how sweet he is. During his "photo shoot" he did great considering the limits he doesn't realize he has. Also, having tested as FIV positive, Hawk needs an adopter willing to consider him an indoor cat only. An FIV positive cat can still live a relatively normal full life and enjoy all of the things a regular cat does. As a VIP pet, Hawk can be adopted at a reduced adoption fee. Ask for Hawk, his ID number is A57597464.
