Pet Adoptions and Reclaims

Animal reclamations are available without an appointment. Please view our Lost Pets website to obtain and provide the animal ID number for your visit. PawBoost is another resource to check to see if your treasured pet has been reported found.

Receiving Animals

  • Lost animal drop-off are accepted by appointment ONLY at this time and until further notice.  
  • Animals transferred to approved Adoptions Placement Partners will be handled outside of the facility in the open air.
  • Owner-surrendered animals are by appointment ONLY. Please email [email protected] and an Animal Services team member will respond as soon as possible.

Main Hours:

Monday through Friday - 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

2nd Tuesday of each month - 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Saturday - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Sunday - Closed

During all holiday closings, shelter staff is onsite to care for the animals in the center.

  • Loose Livestock
  • Animals that have bitten an individual and are currently loose and not confined
  • Wild animals that have bitten an individual or are loose within a residence

  • Current and approved volunteers must sign-up prior to coming to the shelter.
